We believe that with the right materials and resources, schools have the power to provide incredible educational opportunities for students. Our Learning Resource Projects offer the support under-resourced, rural schools need to turn that possibility into a reality.

What are Learning Resource Projects?

When you donate to our Learning Resource Projects, you provide furniture, equipment, curriculum materials, school libraries, hands-on science materials, and more to under-resourced, rural schools.

Why are Learning Resource Projects so important?

Learning Resource Projects are the perfect complement to School Sponsorships and Self-Help Groups and represent Roots Ethiopia’s comprehensive strategy to unite individual and institutional support. We build long-term relationships with our Learning Resource Project schools in order to support, encourage, and respond to school needs. Each project reflects the feedback and input of the community.

Meet Yemisarech, a student at Mugunja School. We partnered with Mugunja School on a Learning Resource Project – Yemisarech now enjoys new textbooks, robust reference materials, improved classroom facilities, and teachers motivated by professional development.

Yemisarech loves chemistry and now conducts hands-on experiments in Mugunja’s new science lab!

With your help, we can continue to improve educational opportunities for more students like Yemisarech.
Give $65 and you provide a desk for two students.
